Why Am I Here?

Do you wake up each morning feeling alive with joy and gratitude? Do you feel you are just going through the motions of living? Do you wonder how your life could get any better?

Do you feel you are on a journey but have no clue as to where you are supposed to be going to and what you are to do once you reach your destination?

Well, don’t feel bad. The majority of the people on this planet are right there with you!

If you are ready for a change and a new life filled with joy, peace, prosperity, happiness, and unconditional love, you have come to the right place.

Life is all about the journey. What does that mean? Think of it as going on a cruise… say, to Hawaii. You know you will have a great time once in Hawaii BUT the cruise itself will be filled with memorable, fun experiences… It’s the journey; not the destination that you will remember and look forward to another.

The same with life. Don’t focus on the outcome. Live each day, each hour, each minute to its fullest. So, I hear you asking, “How in the world do I do that?”

To answer your question, the first item to consider is your perspective.

How do you look at things in your world? Do you see the glass as ‘half full’ or ‘half empty’?

If you are a ‘half empty’ sort of person, it’s time to develop a new perspective!

Budda said, “Your work is to discover your world and with all your heart give yourself to it.”

Open your eyes and mind to all the wonders around you. Even in today’s climate, there are good things to be found and appreciated!

Although several people have been credited with saying, “When the student is ready, the teacher appears,” it boils down to this: God, Divine Energy, gives us what we need, repeatedly, until we’re ready to recognize it. It comes through different experiences, over and over, until we’re able and prepared to receive it.

Step 1: Change your perspective.

Here’s an example. You buy a new weed eater. You bring it home, pull it out of the box, and turn it on…or try to turn it on. Oh, huh. This is a gas driven weed eater and there is no string. What? Now consider what would have been your experience if you had first gotten the instruction booklet out of the box and read it? Your whole perspective would have changed on how to get the weed eater operational.

Remember: We are here to learn, acknowledge, accept, forgive and love, ourselves, each other, and God. We learn to embrace this so we may write our own story, so the world tilts in our favor.

Step 2: Be receptive to new or different ideas.

Be aware and open to new choices, experiences and discoveries.

Choose to see each event, experience, and discovery as a gift to you – even if painful – as an opportunity to grow and to expand your awareness of everything around and within you.

Each of us is made of Godstuff. “All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands in front of our eyes and cry that it is dark.” Swami Vivekananda

Step 3: LOVE!

Each of us have the same purpose and that is to feel love for ourselves, everyone, and everything! Letting your love flow is the key to all you want.

Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, nothing can stop you from loving and putting love into what you’re doing.

Howard Thurman was quoted as saying, “Do not ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

You may wonder, how do I do that?

Learn to accept, forgive and love yourself unconditionally. Awaken to the Divine Energy flowing through you.

We enter this world with a Creative Intention, our gift to the world. It’s our responsibility to lovingly nurture, develop, mature, and give it back when we leave this plane of existence.

Our gift experiences a natural progression from What we do to How we do it. The What is generally our career and hopefully speaks to our interests. The How is our perspective, the way we do it. The How relates to the experience God has through us and colors our experiences and emergence.
