In Life’s Greatest Adventure Continues! (Part 1), I encouraged each of you to look within and imagine the progress you can make.
How, you may wonder?
Start with asking yourself what do you think when you see others with the very thing you want most but don’t have? How do you feel?
I was very familiar with that experience. Back when I was biking to work, riding back home in the evening, I’d take a shortcut and cut through a steak house restaurant parking lot. I’d see couples going in for a wonderful night out and I’d feel the anger and resentment building.
I’d think Pam and I should be there. I’d get angrier. That beat down feeling made me feel even smaller than I already did. Looking back, I suspect I’d make that shortcut for the purpose of making myself feel that way. Similar to picking at a pimple, just to remind myself it’s there and I didn’t like it – or myself!
Residual pain got in my way. Tormenting myself, diverted my focus from recovering. Another way demonstrating I’m my own worst enemy. That is, I was until I learned to be as kind with myself as I was with those closest to me. When I chose to be as kind with myself as I had been with my children when they were newborns, everything changed!
I experienced Love through Grace!
I became open and receptive to understand I’m a child of the Universe. I already sang along with Carmen’s Child Of The Universe. Listen closely to the lyrics, what do you think?
Carmen Moshier ~ Child Of The Universe
Carmen’s message encourages each of us to acknowledge times may be difficult, but we are each a child of the Universe. We are born to rise above our challenges – they’re here for us to learn, to grow by.
I have a purpose, a reason I’m here!
Within me is a gift; that’s my responsibility to imagine, create and develop. Like an oak tree is within an acorn, my Creative Intention is within me and it’s for me to give to the Universe before I leave.
Carmen puts it into a beautiful story with her message and song, My Creative Intention.

Neil Diamond shares a similar story with Create Me. As I sing along with Diamond, I imagine the voice is my Creative Intention reaching out to inspire and encourage me to give it life. Listen and see if it inspires you.
Until Next Time,
Joe
