Last week I concluded my 4-part series “Life’s Greatest Adventure Continues,” and I must admit writing this blog has been eye-opening.
I had intentions and expectations how my plans would play out. I was mistaken. Woody Allen said it best, “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans.”
Have you experienced it?
This insight has likely been experienced by everyone.
If so, from my perspective, the telling questions are: (1) Where did it lead you? and (2) What did you learn?
I learned to trust. Trust myself, and trust God.
I’ve discovered there are many roads to my destination. More than I can count. The best one is a roller coaster, full of exhilarating ups and terrifying downs. When least expected!
In previous posts, I have described my quest: Fulfill my vow I made when I was 9.
It’s said a picture is worth a thousand words.
This clip emotionalizes my mentoring and sharing experiences.
I discovered and experienced the difference…
Between when it appeared I was all alone. I thought no one cared whether I persevered in my struggle. Whether I gave up in despair or not.
And when I found the value in knowing I’m not alone. Knowing someone is cheering me on – counting on me. Someone has my back! This perspective changed everything for me! This opened the door for energizing imaginative creativity to empower me!
As it will for you!
It’s said a picture is worth a thousand words, do you agree?
Comments are open and I invite you to share your thoughts.
Until next time,
Joe
