In a surprising turn of events, as I open my mind to weighing if life is Fate or Free Will, I realize it’s both.
I’m fated to live in and experience the world according to the story I tell. My telling it – repeating it – to myself and others – creates my own boundaries, my mental models!
The mental models that set the very rules I must live by until I’ve had my fill – that’s my fate. It governs my life until it forces me to break out of my shell or some fortunate spontaneity fills me with the daring!
It’s what I require to drive me to create a new story as I described here. That’s free will! They’re alternating, first fate then free will. Shampoo, rinse and repeat.
At the time, each is what’s absolutely best for me!
It drives me to learn and grow. For it’s exactly what I need to drive and invigorate me to update and remodel my story as I did here.
The Bottom Line? The above steps and my experiences prepared me to be receptive and inspired for this image and first line of text to spark my imagination to imagine, concoct, and internalize my next step (in October, I’ll do a deeper dive into what I mean and its ramifications).
Thus inspired, in this morning’s meditation, it occurred to me I have fulfilled my vow as I explained here. I have shared my story. Each of us – you, me, everyone, and everything – is loved more than we can imagine.
Love flows to and through us. Endless love. Unshakable unconditional love. Only when we hoard it versus share it is there a shortage.
I have one foot in the old world’s ways, the other in the next one, and I’m gaining speed in shifting myself to fully embrace being part and parcel with I AM.
Generally speaking, truth, every truth – be it scientific, philosophical, spiritual, even religious – took centuries to become accepted. Then, it gradually goes the way of the dinosaurs becoming old hat and dogma.
Even the old world(s) were equally disturbing, unsettling, and unaccepted new world(s) at one point in humanity’s not-to-distant past. Just as this post seems to many here and now.
Truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die and a new generation grows up familiar with and accepting it. I love the way the video below illustrates this point. Listen and see if you agree?
Until Next Time,
Joe
P. S. Remember, I don’t ask you to accept and believe anything you read here.
Quite the contrary!
I advocate and encourage – JUST take it seriously enough to test it. See for yourself. That’s what I did here, Dalai Lama did here, and William James did here. That was all it took to change my life and their lives – AS IT WILL YOURS!
If you’re curious and receptive or you’ve reached that point. I invite you to reach out and connect with me.
