Losing Focus Loses Control!

Continuing to look at how I focus on practicing, repeated practicing without focus becomes redundant dogma. Stale and boring. I keep it fresh, endeavoring to be my best by Finding Life’s Takeaway Points and Driving It Home.

For many, repeated practicing often becomes mind dumbing. Next thing I knew, my mind was wandering and daydreaming about some event that had gone wrong, words I hadn’t intended to mutter, and suddenly angry hurtful conformation.

The clip below clearly illustrates what may happen when we let our focus get caught up in appearances. How something looks instead of listening to and being guided by our Inner Voice.

In an unexpected and strange turn of events, McQueen, caught off guard by someone else being faster than him, reacts by pushing himself too far, too hard, too fast. Suddenly he loses control as his worst nightmare comes true.
