Drive Talk (Conclusion)

“Thanks, I really needed that just now.” “These are difficult times and I’ve been slowly sliding into negativity.” “Thank you, I really needed to hear that!” Many of my passengers describe how they find my message that I call an Unexpected Sunburst of Positivity!

Like the warm uplifting and empowering moment experienced when the sunlight breaks through the dark clouds on a depressing day, many of my passengers tell me they hope to get me again!

At the very start of a ride, I describe how I love this job. It’s like being paid to play because I love to drive, and I love meeting and talking to people even more than driving itself. Many passengers reply they’re happy for me; they’d love to have a job they just like.

At this point, I frequently mention my experience in hating my job only to discover I hated the job because I chose to focus on the part I was uncomfortable with while ignoring the part I loved – talking with people.

Surprisingly, as explained here, when I changed my focal point, everything changed. The job I loved was the one I had! It had been patiently waiting for me all along.

This is a vital step, so let me repeat that. As explained here , when we change what we’re focusing on, it changes the relationship. Whether it’s our career, our family, our country, even ourselves!

Apply these changes we have covered here and here, into your routine and see if you don’t experience similar results. Sounds too farfetched? Remember, I’m not asking you to accept what I’ve said. Quite the contrary. I’m suggesting you doubt it but practice and see for yourself.

You also can change your job, your life into an Unexpected Sunburst of Positivity! like Carmen’s message in her Sunlight story.
